Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your Samsung Vacuum Cleaner.
Empty the Dust Bin Regularly
Empty the dust bin when the dust reaches the 'MAX' mark. To do this, remove the dust bin by pushing the button on the handle, hold it over a garbage can, and press the button near the bottom of the bin to release the dust. For asthma or allergy sufferers, hold the dust bin inside a plastic bag before releasing the dust. Ensure the bin is securely reattached by aligning the open lock symbol on the dust bin with the arrow on the body, and turn it counterclockwise.
Clean the Filters
Regularly check and clean the pre-motor and HEPA filters. To clean the pre-motor filter, remove it from the dust bin, shake off the dust, and wash it. Allow the filter to dry completely for 12 hours before reinserting. Regular maintenance of the filters helps prevent dust from collecting and ensures optimal suction power.
Inspect the Brush and Check for Clogs
Turn off and unplug the vacuum before inspecting the brush bar. Carefully cut off any hair or string caught in the brush. To check for clogs, place a foot on the brush, tilt the handle back, and remove the hose from the brush housing. Clear any obstructions in the hose and brush housing before reattaching.
Avoid Using a Wet Filter
Ensure that the filter is completely dry before using it in the vacuum cleaner. Using a wet filter can damage the vacuum and reduce its efficiency. Always allow the filter to dry for the recommended 12 hours after washing.
Proper Storage
Store the vacuum cleaner indoors in a cool and dry area. Avoid storing in damp or humid places to prevent damage to the vacuum components.
